Our handcrafted wooden bowl candles are made using bowls that come to us pre-treated and prepared for candle making. While these bowls are designed for use as candle vessels, it is important to remember that all burning candles require proper supervision and safety precautions.
Even with pre-treated wooden bowls, candles should never be left unattended while burning. As with any candle, conditions can vary, and safe candle practices should always be followed.
The bowls include safety warnings such as:
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep away from children and pets.
Burn on a heat-resistant surface.
Keep away from drafts, curtains, and flammable materials.
Do not burn for extended periods beyond the recommended burn time.
Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains in the vessel.
Never move a candle while it is burning or while the wax is hot.
Extinguish immediately if the flame becomes too high or unsafe.
