As an aromatherapist, this was, and is a very effective essential oil mixture for myself, and I would love to share with others.

Essential oils can be effective when it comes to reducing the intensity of your migraine. Which oils are the best for treating a migraine? As an aromatherapist, this mixture was "heavenly" to my temples. I truly hope it helps you as well.
Spike Lavender Essential Oil - Spike lavender contains 1:8 Cineol which works as a analegesic which works on the sensory nerve. Spike Lavender and Peppermint are my go-to essential oils for addressing headache pain, especially if the sinuses are involved.The scent from lavender essential oil can help acute management of migraine attacks.
Peppermint Essential Oil - Peppermint oil is one of the most commonly used essential oils to treat headaches and migraine attacks. It contains menthol, which can help relax muscles and ease pain. It's thought that applying diluted peppermint oil topically can help relieve pain from both tension headaches and migraine attacks
Eucalyptus Essential Oil - It works well to help with the congestion that can be a migraine symptom . This oil will open up the nasal passages, clear the sinuses, and help relieve sinus tension that causes the headaches. A combination of peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, and ethanol provided relaxing effects to both the muscles and the mind, which could help soothe headaches.
Frankincense Essential Oil- Frankincense may help alleviate stress and tension which are often tied to headaches of migraines. Frankincense also contains d-limonene , which is an anti-inflammatory.
Ravintsara Essential Oil- Contains 1:8 Cineol which increase cerebral blood flow as does Siberian Fir and Eucalyptus.
Siberian Fir Essential Oil- Contains high amount of Bornyl-Acetate ( a natural anti-inflammatory)
Trauma Oil- Arnica and Calendula flowers and fresh St. John's Wort in an Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Fractionated (MCT),Coconut Oil,Organic- *Ideal for increasing topical essential oil distribution"
To inspire calm and relaxation, apply to back of neck, temples, behind ears and jawline. Gently rub in.
